THE OWNER
ALEX STRIPE
Alex graduated from The University of Arizona with a
B.S in Business and Communications. Alex is also a graduate of the ASHI School. ASHI (American Society of Home
Inspectors) has set the industry standards for home inspections and is considered the most highly regarded
association in the industry.
Alex has been in the industry for several years. He started off as a property adjuster on Allstate’s National
Catastrophe team where he traveled the country inspecting and processing damage claims to homes. He then
served as VP of Operations for a local Denver roofing company where he continued to complete damage inspections to homes.
During his time in the industry Alex has been able to fulfill his passion for helping people. He understands that purchasing a home is often the largest investment that one makes in their life and he wants to make sure that the decision can be made comfortably knowing the potential issues of the home. Alex’s thoroughness and sincere desire to help will allow peace of mind knowing that those potentially costly issues on the largest purchase of one’s life are caught up front.
In 2020 Alex and his partner, Kari, decided to chase their dream and move abroad with their two dogs, Whiskey and Ginger. They landed in Costa Rica in January of 2021. Alex quickly realized there was a need for more qualified home inspection professionals in the area. Alex and Kari ran the idea of opening the company by their good friend Cinthya. Cinthya agreed the need was there and wanted to be part of the company so Alex and Cinthya partnered up to open the Costa Rica location.

DAVID BALL
David was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and lived in Southeastern Michigan until his mid 20s. He moved to Denver in November 2013 to explore new opportunities. Having two degrees in filmmaking, a minor in writing and a passion for photography, David has been obsessed with details throughout his life. This trait has translated well with his career in home inspections.
David started off in the industry under mentor Alex Stripe. While mentoring under Alex at Stripe Signature Home Inspections, David completed courses and his certification exam through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). He is now one of the primary inspectors continuing to partner with Stripe Signature Home Inspections and has assumed a mentorship role with the company.
David hopes his attention to detail and commitment to learning will continue to flourish in the home inspection industry and help assist all future home buyers seeking the services of Stripe Signature Home Inspections.
JAY STEFANOWICZ
Jay is originally from Maryland and moved to Colorado in October of 1991. He graduated from East High School in Denver and went on to earn a B.A. in English Literature at Colorado State University. Jay lived in Steamboat for 6 years after college and currently lives in Boulder. He is an avid outdoors enthusiast and enjoys mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, camping, and snowboarding. He also enjoys a good game of Words With Friends when not playing.
Jay is certified with the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) and has a construction background in Plumbing/Heating and Deck building. He looks forward to serving the community and being a part of this booming real estate market in the Denver area.

Emily is Stripe Signature Home Inspections’ skilled office manager, who handles all your calls and scheduling needs. Emily is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient inspection process for every client.
As the first point of contact, Emily’s friendly and professional demeanor puts homeowners and clients at ease.
