Heredia and Belén sit just north and west of San José, close to the international airport and the business parks around it. That makes the area popular with families, professionals and people who travel often.
The housing is mixed: older family homes near the town centres, newer condos and townhouses, and homes higher up toward the mountains where it is cooler and wetter. We adjust each inspection to the home in front of us.

Older homes
Older houses may have had several rounds of additions. We check how the electrical and plumbing have been extended.
Moisture up the hills
Homes higher up see more rain and cloud. Thermal imaging helps us find damp in walls and ceilings.
Condos and townhouses
We cover the unit thoroughly and note anything that looks like a building-wide issue to raise with the administration.
